Stephen P. Eaton was born on November 18, 1963. He has lived in Albuquerque since 1968. He attended Alvarado Elementary School, Taft Middle School and Valley High School. He went away for college but returned to New Mexico for Law School. He is married and has three sons. Both he and his wife have strong ties to this community and family roots in New Mexico. The Eatons are members of the Shepherd of the Valley Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Eaton received his Law degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 1990, and started practice that same year. He has been a sole practitioner since 1994 and has focused primarily on family law issues since that time.

He enjoys family law because it gives him the opportunity to help people. His clients are often overwhelmed by their situation. Mr. Eaton appreciates the opportunity to help them get their lives back under control. He understands that each of his clients has a unique situation. He works personally with each client to tailor the best and most practical resolution for their circumstances.
