Collaborative Divorce

Collaborative Divorce: Collaborative Divorce is an out-of-court alternative tailored to each family's legal, financial, emotional, and long-term needs. The key difference between Collaborative Practice and conventional divorce is the pledge to reach an agreement without going to court. You and your spouse keep control of the decisions yourselves, rather than giving them up to a judge. You agree to be part of a respectful process that leads to an out-of-court resolution. With Collaborative Practice, the goals are to develop effective relationships and solve problems jointly--to prevent a court battle. Mr. Eaton offers Collaborative Divorce as an alternative to a court battle. In court a judge decides what is best for you and your family. With Collaborative Divorce, you and your spouse stay out of court and keep control of those decisions. If you and your spouse agree to the process, we can tailor a resolution which meets your family's specific needs.
